How old should my puppy be to have their first grooming?
We recommend starting around 12 to 16 weeks, after they've had their core vaccinations. The earlier they get used to grooming, the more comfortable they'll be long-term. We're gentle with puppies and always take our time.
How often should I get my dog groomed?
For most breeds, every 4 to 6 weeks keeps them looking and feeling their best. Dogs with longer coats or those prone to matting may benefit from more frequent visits. We're happy to recommend a schedule based on your pet's coat type.
Do you need to plug into my electric outlet or use my water?
Nope. Our van is fully self-contained with its own water supply, generator, and heating system. All we need is a spot to park in your driveway.
Do I need to be home during the appointment?
You should be around at the start to hand off your pet, and at the end to pick them up. In between, most people go about their day. We'll text you when we're wrapping up.
My dog gets anxious at the groomers. Will this be different?
Most grooming anxiety comes from the environment: cages, noise, being passed between strangers. Take all of that away and a lot of dogs surprise their owners. We also don't have another appointment waiting on us, so we can spend a little extra time making sure your furry friend is comfy and relaxed.
How long does an appointment take?
Usually 1 to 3 hours, depending on your dog's size, coat type, and the service you pick.
Is my dog too old to be groomed?
Not at all. We work with senior dogs regularly and know how to be gentle with them. Mobile grooming is actually easier on older pets since they don't have to deal with the stress of traveling to a salon.
What if my dog needs a special shampoo?
We carry a range of shampoos for sensitive skin, allergies, and specific coat types with oatmeal base that are are very gentle, but If your dog has a particular product they need, please provide it at the time of your appointment.
Can I book recurring appointments?
Yes. Most of our regulars book monthly. Call us at (973) 943-3500 to set up a recurring schedule, or book your first appointment online and we'll get you on the calendar from there.

Please take a moment to review a few important details:
Arrival Window
We operate with a 30-minute arrival window before or after your scheduled time.
This flexibility allows us to provide each dog with the attention they deserve while accounting for traffic and variations in grooming time. We kindly ask that your dog is ready within this window.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a $50 fee. We may require this fee to be settled before accepting a new booking and reserve the right to follow up on any outstanding balances.
Aggressive Dogs
WE DO NOT WORK WITH AGGRESSIVE DOGS.
For the safety of our team and your pet, we are unable to service dogs that display aggressive behavior. Our hands are essential to our work, and safety is always our top priority.
Sales Tax
A 6.625% sales tax will be applied to all services.
Payment
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service, directly to your groomer.
